How will our mobility behavior change in the next twenty years? No one can predict that with any certainty. For the third time, ifmo has updated its scenarios on the future of mobility in Germany. This time, the time horizon is 2035, and demographic, economic, transport, energy policy and technical factors were taken into account in an elaborate process.
The Institute for Mobility Research (ifmo) updates its publication series on the Future of Mobility in Germany. Due to high uncertainties in the future mobility related environment, scenarios for the year 2035 are developed. The scenarios are based on interdisciplinary and independent input from experts from science, business and public administration.
